Brandy transformed the way I think about my work-life balance, self-care, and my role as an academic.  She held space for growth and provided insightful and empathetic support  and helped me develop simple and powerful strategies to keep my humanness while achieving my goal of being a PhD.  - Social Science Postdoc

Deepest gratitude for the boundless graciousness and generosity, truly life-changing counsel, and sustained positive impact on helping me learn to love and take care of myself. - Humanities Graduate Student

Brandy's coaching philosophy focuses on centering the whole person while providing expert coaching on career and professional development topics. A passionate advocate for creating life designs that support personal and professional flourishing for PhDs and PhDs-to-be, she is deeply committed to working to directly combat the isolation, impostor syndrome, and uncertainty involved in doctoral training and post-PhD career experiences. Brandy draws on her own experiences as a queer, first-gen student as well as on her extensive doctoral training in social psychology, identities, and inequalities to help her clients navigate the structural challenges of doctoral education and diverse PhD careers within and beyond the academy. She brings to each of her coaching sessions a commitment to helping her client identify and expand the practices that support their personal and professional flourishing.
Through coaching, I gained more confidence in my potential for the non-academic job market. I also really appreciated Brandy nudging me toward being OK in leadership positions, which I am wary of because of my own imposter syndrome. - Social Science Graduate Student
